Is it necessary to decouple the S12 Subwoofer (66 lbs) from a wooden floor?
I see lots of different feet on Amazon but wonder if it would do me any good.
Thanks Howie

I used Auralex SubDudes with my previous subwoofers, but they're too small for my current subs (in fact I just sold them last week). I think they helped in my raised floor home and reduced floor/room resonance. I'm now considering the SVS foot solutions but will look also at what else is available.
So it's not the wood floor per se, but if you have a raised floor (as opposed to a slab), then I'd consider them.

I use these for my local hardware store. This is in Australia but I sure you would have something similar where you are. They work great, in fact I've got them under and in between everything in my rack and my mains and surround speakers as well. Anti Vibration Squares

Thanks everyone for your comments. I went ahead and ordered 4 Bigfoot Isolation feet made by Hudson Hi-Fi, they should do the trick.
Cheers
