So just discovered that the left front speaker output has gone dead on one of my UMC-200's. I was setting it up in a spare room. It has not been used in awhile. Now looks like it's done. So I kinda hate to take it to the county dump, but what else to do? It's long past it's 5 year warranty... and I don't have the box anymore either. Is this how they die... :-)

I assumed the rear was putting out a different spec, but I guess if it is fully stereo mode with full range, then that is a great recovery. I only need 2-channel for this setup, so that would be great to give it some more life. Thanks!

Yep all channel stereo and you will be good unless that doesn't work then seek an alternative.

Unless all stereo means each speaker gets a Stereo signal haha, I'm not 100% positive as I don't use that setting Chad

Strange that the rear outputs didn't work, unless you have them set to None in the menu ? but if Zone 2 works that's all you need. Chad

You could also try and get a UMC-200 that is for parts and change out the audio board,I thought about doing that with the UMC-1,as there were a few on ebay last r that lost the video side of things. But i am happy with the zone 2
