Guys, I just bought a used set of ML Theos speakers and Logo center for the living room. Will be running these from a Marantz SR5010 AVR. I am thinking I may be better off with a amp for these speakers since they drop down below 4 ohms and the MLs like power. My first thought was a XPA-3, but the cabinet that we just bought is not deep enough (nor is my wife going to let me cut a hole in the back of it). Any thoughts on how the PA-1 May push these? Better than just using the SR5010’s internal amp?

Or if anyone can think of a multichannel amp (3-5) that is not too deep 14" max that may pair well with the Martin Logan speakers. I realize that I am not getting a perfect match, but I am just trying to think of ideas. It's also possible the SR5010 may do a semi decent job with these speakers.
