So our hot and very humid weather brought us some interesting weather yesterday, our city warning system went off about 5pm with a tornado warning, the picture is of clouds above my house that were going in all directions, nothing cam of it twister wise but we had almost 3 inches of rain within a few hours and our city was badly flooded, somehow my basement did not take on any water as we had about 4 inches of water along the back of our house. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/weather-update-monday-manitoba-1.5630936Chad Glad you made it through safely and without damage, we could use some rain 🌧 Amen to that!

So our total rainfall within about 8 hours was over 6 inches, I thougth it was 4 but I stand corrected, the Trans Canada Highway which is the main highway across Canada is currently closed a mile outside of Brandon where I live as the water is running across it. Just a small bit of the damage I seen out in the rurals today and almost every mile road is like this
