That plumbing looks like it’s from the 50’s I had to cut out the concrete floor to get to mine Either way it is a messy job.... Ann Good call Ann, 1955. The stack and vent are actually in great shape, but, once you start connecting the new with the old . . . . ya never know, so it's not worth the risk even though it's double the money to make it all new. Plus, the twin bath on the other side of the wall is next, so all of the shared plumbing will already be done for round 2. After deleting the hall closet, both baths are now a decent size and the toilets will be moved to much better locations for layout and it's the toilets that the plumbers were concerned about. I'll live stream the plumbers on Tuesday . They're quite entertaining! I've known them for a long time. edit: The really good news is that since everything is already covered I have no excuse to hold me back from installing the ATMOS Tops. So, Monday is the day.

It’s 87F here in the Covid hot spot of the world Houston Texas. Kids are out side swimming and I’m on the patio listing to some Queen. The wife and I just finished our first bottle of wine and about to start the second.

Our Daughter is visiting, Cool 72 degrees F with breeze and rain showers. We’ve been drinking sangrias, smoking baby backs and a small brisket, and grilled assorted vegetables and sea scallops. All 3 zones streaming Tidal via Roon all day. A good day. Cheers.

Nahhhhh just had 4 triples haha, on the prairies here usually when it gets this hot we then get a storm that rolls in and sure enough about 8:30pm the rain started, wished it would have not and could have just chilled out on the patio till the wee hours but it got wet, the next 4 days looks like a high percentage of chance of thunder storms

We’ve had a hot week, often in the ‘triple digits’ as the locals say, the AC has been a pumping. Then last night a cool breeze started up and we could open the windows, this morning it’s down around 60, feels good! Machaca con huevos for breakfast 🍳 then up in the attic to finish some wiring I’ve had to delay until it cooled down. 💨

Hosted a birthday party for my son with family and friends. Cherry bomb mojitos were awesome on an early HOT evening. Flank steak and with all the fixings, plus a banana split ice cream bar. The XMC-2 sounded amazing!!! Sometimes I miss the dedicated home theater room in our prior house, but not last night. Definitely a birthday celebration to be remembered.

Improvements to the patio are slowly coming together. Sat outside, read a nice book, drank some tea.

So our hot and very humid weather brought us some interesting weather yesterday, our city warning system went off about 5pm with a tornado warning, the picture is of clouds above my house that were going in all directions, nothing cam of it twister wise but we had almost 3 inches of rain within a few hours and our city was badly flooded, somehow my basement did not take on any water as we had about 4 inches of water along the back of our house. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/weather-update-monday-manitoba-1.5630936Chad
