Anyone have experience with a processor not sending the video signal till it’s warmed up? My Marantz 8802a sends audio through the HDMI port but not video till the processor has been on for a few minutes. Doesn’t matter if I’m trying to watch my Oppo 203 or my Roku. Both switch thru the Marantz to my LG B9. I tried swapping HDMI cables and no change. The firmware is up to date. Next time it acts up I’ll try using a different HDMI port on the Marantz. Till then any ideas what might be happening?

Sounds like a connection issue inside with the HDMI board. Some not allot of Marantz have some issues with HDMI. Had a buddy whose HDMI board failed under warranty with his Marantz Preamplifier Processor.

Time to reach out to Marantz support.

Of course it’s one year past warranty... doubt I’d fix this thing unless the fix is cheap and can do myself. This unit was already repaired once and that was one week after purchase.

I don’t know what was repaired, but the problem was no video or video that was only in shades of green when it did show a picture.
