OK I have an XMC-2 set up as 7 base channels and 2 heights, and I wanted to check the phase on all the channels. With 7.x I just ran a stereo signal on each paired output and moved between the speakers.. with some practice you could detect out-of-phase. Then you repeat for all the left (or right, doesn't matter) speakers, comparing each channel with the main left.
But now I don't have a way to drive the heights... my output device (Apple Mac Mini) doesn't do ATMOS, and I really don't want to move output wires around to do the test... any ideas?

D'UH! Found a simple solution... well, simple for my setup. I run monblocks on the LCR, and all other channels are into an XPA-10. I can easily switch the monoblocks on and off to control L, C and R, and for the other channels, I can toggle the XLR-RCA input switch, effectively giving me control over each individual channel.
