Has anyone tried any of these Jamo speakers? Amazon LinkThey look good and I'm trying to pick an inexpensive set of speakers for my nephew's room. He just turned 14 and I'm trying to get him into the world of better audio but want to easily lean into it first before going too crazy. Thinking an Emotiva TA-100 to power whatever speakers I figure out.

Jamo is part of the VOXX group and have been turned into a "value" line with Klipsch being their more "mainstream" brand. Jamo makes some well-regraded speakers. I know nothing about the ones you link to, except that they seem VERY inexpensive...

I recently tried a pair of their Bookshelf speakers, the top of their line, and I ended up returning them. sounded hollow, n thin.
The saying is true. you get what you pay for.
Get a pair of B1+'s, or T-zero's, they are worth it. and u can always add a matching sub. I did and I like how they sound much better. Of course there are other brands, but for the money you spend they sound really nice, and well priced right IMO.
Good Luck.
