I have been trying to figure out how to play music from my Amazon Music HD account without tying up my phone and without losing any fidelity going through Bluetooth. I recently saw an article about a Magnavox processor that had an app for Amazon Music HD and Tidal. Any chance of getting an app like that for my RMC-1? Thanks

There's always a chance. Emotiva has talked about doing something similar for the expansion slots of the RMC for awhile but have never seen a prototype as of yet.
An alternative that you can do by this weekend: Raspberry Pis are cheap (apx. $60) and easy to program. There's not much they can't do. By way of comparison, I built my Plex server on a Pi and now have blu-ray quality and HD music available to me at any time on multiple devices at the same time. Best little streamer I've seen. I would research to see if there's an existing program to do what you want to do and either build it yourself (like I did) or throw $10 at high school/college kid that you know to have them do it.

If you have received your EDNIB already, you have a Pi 4. Get you a new sd card and do as suggested here. Just make sure the solution you pick actually works with Amazon HD. I used my HTPC. The Xbox for example doesnt have the HD option. The Windows version still hasn't worked out the kinks for exclusive mode, but still sounds good.

I'm waiting for the Fire TV cube to offer it. You would think it would just be a software update if it supports the 4k content through hdmi.

Apple TV has an app for Amazon Music. You can use your computer.

Thanks You’re better off looking at the current platforms and pick one of them (which is to say, you might be in for a long wait with an RMC solution). I use the Apple TV app for ‘casual listening’, and a Mac mini for the best the app can deliver. Here’s the Amazon FAQ: www.amazon.com/b/ref=nodl_?ie=UTF8&node=14070322011

If I understand the OP correctly; wanting to play Amazon Music HD through his RMC-1, I think the easiest way would be via using a Amazon Fire Cube (Gen2) which will automatically have the Amazon Music HD app installed predicated on the signed in account being subscribed to Amazon Music HD service. Connection is via HDMI using your TV as an interface. I believe there's an option to control it from your smartphone as well. The difference in sound quality of Amazon Music HD vs. Apple TV/Music or Spotify is significant; Amazon Music HD is uncompressed FLAC minimum 850 Kbps at 16bits/44.1kHz up to 3730 Kbps 24bit/192kHz, vs Apple and Spotify currently only supporting compressed 320 Kbps maximum. Amazon has a free trial, check it out.

Thanks flyingdutchman! I think I will get the cube If you get the new cube, it will update itself shortly after initial setup and sign in to your Amazon account, assuming you've subscribed to Amazon Music HD. When you click the "Amazon Music" icon it should briefly show the "Amazon Music HD" startup screen, then transition into the home menu.
