Today's is: King Crimson: Epitaph (Really difficult to find this original version these days. Not a fan of "remastered" anything.)

I live not too far from both old Route 66 and from Route 666 through Navajo land.

Since hearing of Gerry Marsden’s death (Gerry and the Pacemakers), I’ve had a song rattling in my head; then I remembered a late night recording I did of it several years ago after a good ski day. I don’t often share my recordings, and probably should just post the original, but this is a little more personal. Hopefully this link will work www.dropbox.com/s/vrfatdfduxmouuw/Ferry%20Cross%20The%20Mersy.mp3?dl=0

Very nice! Thanks for sharing! RIP Gerry Marsden Thanks, glad it worked. Today's is: King Crimson: Epitaph (Really difficult to find this original version these days. Not a fan of "remastered" anything.) Nice recording, still only have the vinyl original. This was one of the songs that enamored me to the Mellotron, not to mention Greg Lake’s voice and guitar.

This one popped up again. I don't usually post repeats, they happen often, but this is a great song.

I woke up about 4:30 AM and could not get this song out of my head. This one might be a band nobody but people from Indiana know, but they rocked it out in the late 70's/early 80's - and they even opened for Peter Frampton on the "Comes Alive" tour at some stops.
Rock on Roadmaster!!!

I heard something yesterday that sounded familiar, but wasn't Killer Joe. It reminded me of something that The Manhattan Transfer did, so I did some searching and came up with Killer Joe. It stuck. Love this tune, with and without vocals.
Composed by Benny Golson: Killer Joe This is the instrumental version with Golson and Art Farmer.
But this is the Earworm for today, the version by The Manhattan Transfer with lyrics: Killer Joe The live and very entertaining version.
The studio version.
They're all great!
