when i got my UMC-200 used, it didnt come with a measurement mic. Now that my room is complete, id like to try giving the calibration process a try using the original mic. Does anyone have one I can borrow for a week? I'll cover shipping to and from...
Thanks!

Call Emotiva, they may have one to send to you.

eflizotte,
I have a UMC-1 microphone available.
Is it compatible?

I think the UMC-200 only measures distance and levels. Just about any mic should work fine.

The UMC-200 actually does do some EQ. I remember I went through the process, but ended up turning EQ off. It's called EmoQ. I was not happy with any of the early EQ modules on any of my previous processors (Denon, Pioneer, Emotiva (never tried the Marantz I had for a short time)) until the XMC-1.
