dont yell at me for it...just curious . Im sure there has to be some guy out there good with solder iron whom has replaced some of the internals ..caps ..wire...whatever...tried to improve on a already solid piece.
I mean why not if yours is no longer under warranty.

I just got my 4th one last night. I still hate the remote. but I am going to see if my harmony 700 will run it. Its simple as it gets but not bad. I bet there is room for improvement. I need to find some internal pics. maybe find a used one cheaper to experiment with. dont want to open a new one of course.

I just looked at internal pics of this thing. there is enough room for a small cat to hide out....but I only saw a few caps in there. I dont know what else there is to change but still think it would be easy enough on a used unit. its definitely a simple looking easy to access layout. I think even I could change some caps ! lol...
