I am new to HT and I have a silly question to ask
I am planning to connect my avr preout to the a700 to drive my Fronts, TF, TR, HF, HR and VoG speakers. These will use all 7 channels.
The TF/TR and HF and HR speakers will be connected to a 4 channel speaker switch as in TF/TR to switch A for Atmos and HF/HR to switch B for Auro3D.
I plan to get the Pyle 4 channel speaker switch with individual volume controls.
Looking at the rear of the switch selector, I found that the switch needs to be connected to an amp via the Aml Input.
As the a700 does not have any amp out terminals, I was wonder how the a700 will be able to handshake with the speaker switch.
Is it via the 12v trigger that will auto detect speaker signals from the a700 to determinate which set of speakers to activate based on the speakers switch selected?
