I've been thinking of getting an iphone 11 if they go on sale but the iphones are so much more money that the LG's I have had for the last 5 years, I can get the new LG phone for $20 a month while even an older iphone xs is like $40 and it doesn't even have wide angle camera my LG V30 has and I use it a lot so not something I want to lose, I have owned both Apple and Android phones and I have enjoyed them both but I'm not all in for this premium price to pay, I mean I have PC computers and a Mac Mini and iPad 6th gen so it would be nice but man I'm a cheapo when it comes to phones, especially considering how easy they are to get lost/stole/broken haha. Chad I do use apple products but I keep the phones ontill they’re very old! As long as I can tether my Ipad I don’t care about the phone but for calls. I prefer using my IPad as its just so much easier to use for my needs and lifestyle.

... I recently just had my home land-line disconnected as I hardly use it, so I've taken the opportunity to start fresh into the world of having only one phone. While I've only had my current iPhone 11 for a year, I've taken a step into the world of 5G and pre-ordered the iPhone 12 Pro. Apple says that it should ship out no later than Oct 30, hoping that is a conservative date and they get it out their door even sooner. Here’s a glowing review of the 12! www.cnet.com/news/apple-iphone-12-review-5g-one-of-cnet-highest-rated-smartphones-of-all-time

Updated all of my Apple devices last night, and that included my ATV4K, so the tvOS14 is now available for updating.. I too will be moving to a new iPad, probably the Air model, as I now know I prefer the bigger screen over the iPad Mini5 that I currently have. ... and here’s a review of the new iPad Air! www.cnet.com/news/ipad-air-2020-review-apples-middle-child-ipad-steps-up

I'm in for an iphone 12 pro, but may wait to see if there are any Black Friday deals at this point. I don't what to switch carriers, I have Verizon, and my iphone 7 (256gb - mint condition) is only worth $100 on trade in. It's still working great even though its old. I can be patient.

iOS 14.1
XMC remote app still crashing on launch.
As mentioned earlier app hasn’t been updated in 5 years....
Will we ever have a decent app solution for 3G processors?

This has been a bit of an inconvenience, I keep trying the iPad version and forgetting it will crash, then I have to find my iPhone to use that one. We can only hope a new App is in the works that will fully exploit the G3Ps.

Would really like to have a stable reliable app to control with.

So you can use the iPad version of the XMC-1 App with iPadOS 14.x? 14.0.1 works, should I not upgrade? only thing that I can’t use is switching to tuner, everything else seems to work My XMC-1 App started crashing with 14.0, so I don’t think it will matter, but 🤷‍♂️ Reality is that an App that’s neglected will eventually become obsolete and I think we’ve reached that point. (I won’t stop upgrading my OS because Emotiva doesn’t upgrade the app, but that’s your call) What model iPad do you have? (Settings > General > Model Name & Model Number) maybe it’s model related.

IPad Air2, NGKL2LL/A yes, it will eventually become useless unless somebody takes on the task of upgrading it. I will need Apples security updates, so I’m on the road that’s doomed!

So does anyone else with an iPad upgraded to iPadOS 14.x have a working XMC-1 App? If so, what model number do you have?
