As I consider upgrading to the XMC-2 (likely will do so), I'm also considering how to maxmize that purchase. Current setup: - 3 x Polk 265LS in-walls as L/C/R behind an acoustically transparent screen
- 4 x Polk 80F/X ceiling speakers are rear and side surrounds
- 4 x Fi Audio 18" infinite baffle drivers
- 7 x 100W via Sherbourn amp
- 4 x 300 via two Crown XLS-1500's driving the subs
I can put a pair of height speakers on the front wall at the ceiling on either side of the screen. Is it worth doing so? The side surrounds and rear surrounds take up available ceiling space due to lighting and plumbing constraints and the ceiling has already been patched and painted due to some misfires on location due to pipes on the way so WAF of anything is tied to going on the wall. I have a spare XLS-1500 running my deck subwoofers that I could borrow but most likely would run a separate smaller Emo amp or steal my Adcom GFA545MkII back from my parents. Any suggestions on speakers that would wall-mount, be angled down and preferably white? - Sometimes the terseness of my reply can't be blamed on my phone.

Polk OWM3, they're white (or black), timber matching with your actual Polk speakers setup, ceiling or wall or even corner mounting flexibility, look nice on specs paper but I really don't know what to think of because never heard it, plastic designed? It's not necessary bad, outdoor speakers sounds good in rigid plastic designed enclosure. Maybe the best way to fit your needs. I think that their design is simply genius, now, how they sound? The users reviews aren't bad. I'm myself in the process of choosing Atmos speakers and these ones take my attention. www.polkaudio.com/en/surround-speakers/owm3Amazon: pair white 229.95$ www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Wall-Speaker-White/dp/B0018QNYXA?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_marketplace
