Based on how hard some of these musicians lived their lives (alcohol, drugs, etc., etc.) I am surprised some made it that far. RIP.

Ugh. Soundtrack of my youth. Glad I caught the VH tour in 2015. If we ever have concerts again, don't miss the acts you want to see when you have a chance.

I have an original 1979 concert T-shirt. I guess it is time to frame it.

I have an original 1979 concert T-shirt. I guess it is time to frame it. My brother saw that tour at Wings Stadium in MI. I still remember him coming home with Michael Anthony's pick Scott

Eddie was the ONLY lead guitarist that I ever saw who consistently smiled while playing. It made me feel that he really liked what he did. As my secretary once commented, "he always has that little s**t-eating smile on his face."
RIP, Eddie!

I had a prof who smiled like that everytime she had to face raw humanity in large numbers.

Maybe it was drugs for the prof and Eddie, man. I only ever used one drug. That was many years ago and something I smoked very occasionally. I would be smiling from ear to ear.

Very sad day to see Eddie's passing. I saw Van Halen twice. First time at the LA Forum for the Fair Warning Tour. Second time at the San Diego Sports Arena for the 1984 Tour. Both shows were great, I think 1984 was better, Eddie rocked. Both shows David Lee Roth was so drunk he forgot the words. That was the only downfall. RIP Eddie, it was fun...
