I'm an Emotiva fanboy and have the gear connected everywhere including my Work Laptop (Stealth DC1 USB DAC connected over USB). At the moment, I have a normal USB Headset as well as my Emotiva DAC powering my HD650 headphones connected into my work laptop.
This works well however when I join a video conference, I need to take my HD650's off and put on my shitty USB headset.
My question is, if I bought a ModMic (basically a high quality microphone that can attach to anything including Audiophile headphones) could I somehow plug it into the DC-1 and will it appear as a Microphone input to my PC/Mac?
Not expecting a yes, but though I would ask.
Thank you for making awesome gear!
Cheers

I don't think Emotiva has this.
You want to purchase a Schiit Audio Hel USB dac/amp. It has enough power (I think) for the HD650. I just bought a Fulla 3 for my son amd it works great. I haven't tried my HD6xx, but others have said its not enough. Get the HEL. It has 3.5mm inputs for stereo headphones and mic input. A nice large easy accessable volume knob.
