I am looking for a family member who has an old Emo UMC-200 and bought a UHD TV and wants to move to 4K.
Thoughts?

I bought one for my daughter and All she had was trouble with it. I sold it and got her a Denon and she’s happy with that. All we did is replaced the Denon into its spot and all the trouble went away. It sounded great but you had to reboot it every time to get the video to sync. Save yourself the headache and get anything else.

Damn I really want all this to not be the case, but ever time I start considering the MC700 it seems to still have issues.

I need a product that works 99.9999% of the time for my family. I get major grief when things don't work as expected.

I am looking for a family member who has an old Emo UMC-200 and bought a UHD TV and wants to move to 4K. Thoughts? It is logical that there are 700's out there that have no problems even though the dual hdmi2.0/1.4 ports isnt as compatible as some [ wont bring up the problems denon;marantz and yamaha have with hdmi2.1 lol ] With a 30 day return option it is a easy decision to find out ...
