If you have European brands such as Bang & Olufsen, Tandberg, etc. then you may have encountered the dreaded "DIN connector." To my knowledge (admittedly thin, here) the European brands used them a lot back before the '80s, but then went, instead, with global connection standards. But if you DO have equipment that wants DIN, the available plugs and wires are generally few and far between, or else very expensive. Over the years, I've collected a box full of misc. DIN connectors and adapters. Since I'm trying to clean house in preparation for a move in a couple of years, I'll be happy to donate these to anyone having need of them.
