So I recently purchased the BASX A-100. I am using it for a desktop pair of Kef Q-150. The amp is driven directly by my iPad Pro via the analog headphone jack. When I turn the volume up slowly from zero, one channel plays before the other. Is this expected,? Or is there a problem with my equipment? The volume gets loud enough to clearly hear the song near field, but I doubt it would be heard from a living distance situation. I am using the emotiva for volume control with my iPad volume all the way up. When I use the iPad as the volume control they are perfectly even.
just a little more info...when I slowly turn up the volume with the emotiva, I can clearly hear the center image move from off center to center.
thanks for any input on this.

Could be your cable, maybe try a different one. If your using a 3.5m to rca to input on back,,it could be the headphone jack output,,may not like the route you send the info to amp.

I’m very happy with the amp so no big deal then if it’s normal.

I’m very happy with the amp so no big deal then if it’s normal. Yeah it's no biggy. However, if you did want to fix that, there are two ways. First is that you lower your ipad volume down to say about 70%. That should allow you to increase the volume on the A-100 higher than normal. The second way is that you a buy a pair of Harrison labs RCA attenuators. You'll probably need at least a 6db or 12 db one. These will lower the volume by a set amount. www.amazon.com/Harrison-Labs-Line-Level-Attenuator/dp/B0006N41AG/($25) I personally didn't care for the 12 db version of these attenuators but they will reduce the volume. So there ya go
