Hello,
New here. Just got an A100 as an early xmas present to power some PSB Alpha B bookshelf speakers at my desk. My source is a PC (Foobar2000 typically) with an external DAC.

e2m Congratulations! Do you plan to use it on headphones as well? It is a stunning headphone amp - especially if you have hard to drive high impedance headphones.

Thanks. I don't do much headphone listening, but if I do, I know the A-100 will be there to handle it well.  |

Garbulky is right about its greatness as a headphone amp and I think you'll really like it when you try it that way.
I am also considering adding a dedicate a good budge DAC like yours or their new Topping E30

I am also considering adding a dedicate a good budge DAC like yours or their new Topping E30 The newer D10s tested very well on ASR. However, it only has a USB input. If you need other inputs like coax or optical, then E30 would be the way to go.
I'm actually pondering getting a new DAC as well - something with pre-amp/volume knob, so that I don't have to mess with the A-100 knob.

Welcome to the lounge - and enjoy the new toy. I love mine. I also avoid using the knob myself. I set the volume on the A100 close and fine-tune with Roon.
