Bought my RMC 1L in June 2020. Was working great. Loved it. Thought I would upgrade to Firmware 2.1 and setup Dirac
Got an upgrade file for Firmware 2.1 from Emotiva
Tried to upgrade and the unit would not start. Getting error message HDSB82.
Apparently some problem with Video board. Only solution was to send it back to Emotiva for getting it working.
Paid $81.00 for shipping to Emotiva. Waiting to get unit back in working condition.
Hope others had better luck !

Addendum:
Got back my RMC-1L unit from Emotiva 4 days ago
They " flashed" the HDMI video board. Unit upgraded to Firmware 2.1

Working great!
