Hey all, thought I'd show off a remodel/custom install project. Re-did our family room into a stereo home-theater setup w/ builtin speakers (in wall) & subwoofers (in ceiling). The A/V equipment is mounted vertically hidden away in an alcove behind the TV, which includes the Emotiva PT-100 receiver and A-300 amplifier. Everything sounds really good, except the amplifier has a resonance with the subwoofers. I'm not talking any electrical issue here, but there's a component inside the amp that is mechanically resonant (buzzes) with a particular bass note coming from the sub. I imagine that mounting vertically like I did is not very common, and perhaps contributes. Haven't had a chance to take the cover off and investigate further, but wondering if folks have any advice. I don't want to poke around too much inside the amp. Anywho here's some pics of the setup, took the screen off one of the subs & speakers to show them off..:

Wow thats an impressive amount of work in that system. Looks awesome. How did you manage to fit it all behind that screen. Super clean

Very neat installation and pleasing to the eye....BUT (please don’t take it to heart) ....a disaster on all counts....plus the flat screen height would kill my neck
