I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I cannot get the unit upload the new firmware. I used a jump drive formatted correctly, FAT32, With the only file on the whole thing being the firmware file. I followed the instructions on the recent forum without success. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong.

Try another USB-memory, the MC700 (and all other Emotiva products) is quite fuzzy about accepting certain USB-memories. They work OK everywhere else but not in the Emotiva gear, its just a matter of trial and error, suddenly you find one that works.

Hello, I have the same problem on my model. I tried with 5 different USB sticks! the current FW is 2.9.3 who has ever managed to update to v3.1.3? Just updated my MC-700 this last weekend. Took a Kingston USB drive, formatted at FAT32, loaded the 3.1.3 file. With the MC-700 off (switched off on the back) I inserted the USB drive, turned the rear power switch on and it updated. When done, remove the USB drive and power up as normal. I have never had an update issue with the MC-700 and I have updated several times.
