The microphone will not work on your computer. It is meant to go the rear panel of the MC-700. If you are not getting readings, it is likely you may have a defective microphone. It you are connecting your microphone to the correct location per the operators manual. Location 6 by the way. Then you should be able to have calibration be performed. Please contact Emotiva support for further on the possibility either your microphone is defective, or you may need further assistance on the calibration process. Included is an image from the operators manual where the Calibration Microphone goes.

Hello, the microphone was tested last week by my French dealer. the microphone is working. I'm waiting for my dealer to send it back to me.
I thought to put an old firmware back on the MC-700 in order to check if it is not a problem of recent firmware.
if it still does not work, I will return the equipment to the French after-sales service.
