I have an Xbox Series X running 4K through an XMC-2. The audio occasionally shuts off and I have to do an XMC-2 cold reboot to restore it. Switching inputs does not restore the audio... however when I am in the failure mode the on-screen graphics for other sources are displayed in an odd color (yellow instead of white).
I have tried the following:
- upgraded XMC-2 to firmware 2.2 - disabled ARC/CEC - made sure to turn on Xbox and TV both ON before booting XMC-2
The problem still remains. I see it most often when starting/stopping youtube videos. If an Xbox game starts okay, audio is good for the duration of the play session. I suspect it has something to do with changing audio/video formats.
Any suggestions? A full cold reboot takes a long time and my family is losing patience with Emotiva! LOL
Thanks for any help!

I’m on 2.1 still using the Xbox. I have VRO off and ARC enable. I turned the XMC on and go wash my car while it’s booting up lol. Than turn on the tv and Xbox. This has work for me

Did you ever get this resolved? Contemplating buying one of these down the road, and I’m also a series x user.
