Ok, so I am ready to upgrade my old Definitive Technology 2004tl's and associated center channel. This is for just my living room not my dedicated home theater. My living room is not great for sound as I have a wide open space with 15 foot vaulted ceilings! I have narrowed it down to either the EMotiva T1+ OR T2 with associated center channel or the SVS Prime Pinnacle with associated center channel. I know it is all about proper placement I just curious on if anyone has any opinions of the two. I will currently be running them with the Emotiva Gen3 7 channel (200 watts) I believe this will be enough to run either speaker. I will be about 9 to 10 feet from the front sound stage. I do have two subs one is the SVS 3000 and a 15 inch sub in the back room. Let me know if you have any of your own opinions!
Thank you in advance!

I have a pair T2+'s powered by XPA-2 Gen3 in 2 channels stereo setup, and a pair of SVS Pinnacles in my H/T, powered by xpa-3 gen-3.
If my T2+'s would fit my space I would have swapped the placement but the T2+'s are too big. Sound wise, T2+ is winner for me. I love the pinnacle sound, but prefer it for a stereo setup, and thanks for my dual SVS subs they work great in my H/T. I returned the pinnacle ctr, and got a c-1+ ctr channel speaker, I preferred it's sound with the pinnacles in my H/T.
IMO, having both systems, If I am you, I'd go for the T2+'s in your H/T.

I appreciate the reply as this is super helpful!! My challenge may be the same as yours as the T2's may be too big for my space. The C1+ do you feel it handles dialog well as my current center sucks as its muddled and too low.

omuracada You might be surprised. The T2 is one of the smaller towers I have encountered. I personally wouldn't want to go smaller than a T2 for my small living room.
