If your getting a windows error saying that you don't have permission to run this program, make sure that your anti spy ware like PCMatic etc. is turned off.
Make sure that you have a connection to your local network. Under Information on the Emotiva menu, make sure it doesn't show 000.000.000 for your IP Address.
If your receiving a lot of errors while calibrating the microphone or the speakers in the next step, make sure that the microphone on your laptop / tablet / desktop is turned off even if the red light on the USB plug is flashing. Double-check that the USB microphone is the one that's doing the measuring.
