Help: Time Alighning Subwoofers

I've decided to upgrade my home theater setup using dual subwoofers. I was made aware of the need to time align the subs in order to get the best possible performance and so I took the advice I was given and I bought the mini dsp thingy that is needed. My question is do I do the time alighnment first before doing Dirac or the other way around? If doing the time alignment comes first, do I need to remove the mini dsp connection in order to do Dirac? And when all is done does the mini dsp remain hooked up to the system or do I remove it altogether?
Hope someone has some suggestions.

Dirac should time align the subwoofers. You shouldn't have to use both but either Dirac or MSO.
