Has anyone had and fixed the error: Init OSD? I just got in on my RMC-1 (firmware 2.2) and now it won´t start. It freeze with that annoying error code shown on the display. The unit has been without the power cord all night hoping that would fix it... but no. Anyone?

Disconnect all HDMI cables then press and hold for at least 5 sec the front panel button. Hope this resets the RMC and it will allow you to turn on without the error.
All I know it helped on my XMC-2 when it hang or have error turning on.

The unit has been without the power cord all night hoping that would fix it... but no. Anyone? The advice above is sound, but I’m going to add just a little more... Shut down your RMC-1 and turn off the rear panel power switch. Unplug all of your HDMI cables from the back panel of the RMC-1 and also remove the power cable. Press and hold in the Standby button on the front panel to fully drain any residual power. Wait a few minutes and then plug the power cable back in (but not the HDMI cables) and turn the rear panel power switch back on. With all HDMI cables still unplugged, press the front panel Standby button and see if your RMC-1 boots up. If it does, plug in the HDMI cable for your display and move on from there. If it doesn’t, contacting Emotiva would be your next move... |

Is this returnable or under warranty? Consider those options quickly.
