His TV is as dinky, and dwarfed by his speakers, just like Shimei's. Twins separated at birth? I'm sure ridding of the Ulfberhts and adding a little perspective the screen might look like this 65" Funny, seen some beautiful rooms w/ massive looking Oleds on Reddit next to book shelf speakers on stands. I ask what size is that screen and they say 65 inch..... Purchased my Sony Bravia 65" OLED late in 2019 so it'll probably be w/ me for I hope a long time. By time I want to replace it with maybe 85+ inch Oleds will be more reasonably priced. Just don't view enough cinema to desire a 12 grand television at this time: www.amazon.com/Sony-XBR-85Z9G-85-Inch-Master-Compatibility/dp/B07P24KDMG/Especially because I'm not convinced the life expectancy of Oled may bring years and years of enjoyment. I suppose the REL demo room might of defeated the purpose if they went with a massive projector screen and hid the subwoofers behind the screen.

PS: You can ROTFLMAO about this one... My sub's currently set at the bottom of a stairwell. I think the stairwell is acting as a giant resonance chamber for the sub because I'm getting a LOT lower bass than this sub should be capable of. I'm not complaining... Isn't that how transmission line subs work. ...or probably a horn loaded sub. Need pics of the stairwell.

One of the easiest tricks used to tune the bass in a room - if you get lucky and have the correct geometry to achieve the results you desire. Corner-loading works the same way.

Don't forget infinite baffle. Make the next room the sub box.

You should go for the 8 grand 83 inch Sony A90 OLED coming out in a few months.

I would LOVE to know more about the subwoofer integration and setup. The manual way of doing it is to use the simultaneous output of coherent sources. Calculator here: www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-coherentsources.htm. (scroll down for more than two sources) To do it manually: 1. Phase the subs to the satellites (put your cell phone on the floor halfway between the sub & its satellite. Play white noise & adjust the sub phase dial for the loudest volume) 2. Set the main speakers to full range & turn off the subs. Play some white or pink noise & adjust volume until you get any usable decibel level (80, 90, or 100 work fine). 3. Then turn the main speakers off and the subs on. Use the online calculator to determine what (identical) loudness level per source (sub) will result in the combined dB level you chose above. Then set each individual sub (one at a time) such that their combined loudness equals that of the satellites. Done. Of course, if your gear has a room-correction calculator with microphone, just run the room correction with all sub volume knobs set identically, and the electronics will balance the satellites & subs for you. Boom Thanks Boom. I use a similar method for setting the phase, however, I use the version suggested by ML which uses the inverted way of doing this whereby the most amount of cancellation is happening, the tone playing at its quietest. It's easier to achieve a desired result this way because smaller changes to phase affect the cancellation more dramatically. REW's RTA helps a lot with this. However, I'm really most interested in knowing how the owner of the equipment in the photos calibrated the Rel Line Arrays specifically. I haven't been able to come up with any info on how Rel calibrates their arrays, so I used trial and error. I'm only using stacks of two and used fore & aft placement of the subs vs Mains along with phase, LP & slope, mode (curve presets in the subs), and gain settings to align each stack of subs to the each Main. For the record, adding a third sub to the stack has benefits but it's one of those diminishing returns things, so it's something I would do if this were in pre-pandemic times, but can't do now.

So I assume on that equipment wall there’s a Mac surround processor? Does anyone know what model, or something else?

Nice thing bout the phone app I'm using is the ability to adjust the measurement refresh time. Actually reads faster than my db meter which suffers from serious display lag. I'm content now .... on this side of room correction. Appreciate your advice boom. Anytime, amigo!
