These speakers are simply wonderful. After having them for about 8 month's now the honeymoon still isn't over.

Hello,
My T1's make me smile, too!
Few years ago I knocked over one of my beloved Magneplanar SMGa's and needed a speaker in a pinch so I borrowed a pair of T1's from work (I work in Emotiva's Service Department) thinking I would "limp along with these speakers until I got my Maggies fixed".
Almost 4 years later, and I still haven't fixed my Maggies! Not returning the T1's either! They are KEEPERS.

I’ve only had mine for a day since I got Dirac run, and they make me smile and cause some hairs to stand up on the back of the neck.  |

Update after getting Dirac set and spending some time just listening... I’m not sure how a speaker can affect a particular medium, but all my jazz LPs sound fantastic through the T2+s. Everything else sounds great too, but it’s like the improvement on vinyls is even greater. Has anyone else experienced that?

I have only streamed music through these speakers from Amazon HD and I do notice a difference in the sound quality but I notice the difference when comparing them to my old speakers. The imaging with these T2+s is incredible. They reach out beyond their boundaries and can place sounds at my sides and the center is dead center. I've checked many times if my side surrounds or center speaker are active. Clarity is outstanding and these speakers produce a nice full sound as well. I find that I listen to music with these speakers more than I had in the past because they are so enjoyable to hear. |
