I have 2 of the XPA-5 Gen3 5 Channel amps, a XMC-2 processor, an Hd radio tuner and a turntable. The Emotiva amps are heavy and I would like a rack or piece of furniture type rack that will hold that weight easily and be shelf adjustable and expandable. What have you seasoned pro's found/use and would recommend?
Thanks

Thanks If you want furniture I like BDI’s style, however an Emotiva power amp with XLR connectors uses the entire depth and cables may block the sliding doors in the rear. I built my own Credenza taking many ideas from the BDI Corridor, but among other things making it deeper. Sanus racks are popular for a more functional style.

Check out the Pangea Audio Vulcan racks at AudioAdvisor.com. I have three of them and each shelf holds up to 80 pounds. I have my Emotiva XPA-1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 monoblocks on them and it holds them with ease. You can choose from black, rosewood or carbon fiber finish....and they sell for just over $200

Not a seasoned pro but NavePoint IT racks work really well for audio gear. Just paint or use black vinyl to cover the white lettering on the front of the rack. I got mine on amazon. How do I load pics, new here. Attachments:

If I had it to do over again, I'd build my own out of plywood & PVC uprights. I'm using some Sanus Euro racks now, but when I loaded them up with (VERY heavy) McIntosh gear, the piping bent. Also LEAVE ROOM FOR FUTIRE EQUIPMENT. You never know what you might end up with in the future. Better to have some empty racks than new gear and nowhere to put it.

The depth and weight of the equipment makes it a tough one to satisfy your needs. I purchased three XPA amps an RMC-1. I searched a long time to no avail and I ended up cutting out the back of my of my existing cabinet and beefing up the shelves, the THIRTEEN 1.6S weighs 50 pounds.

No DIY? Seems something 'doable'.

If you aren't looking to spend a lot of $$$ and don't like big bulky steel furniture, IKEA stores usually have some kind of 'wood' furniture that can be adapted to be used for amps or equipment. A lot of their stuff has wheels on it ,too. Makes moving it around a lot easier. My 2 amps together weigh a solid 90-ish Lbs and this little IKEA side table with wheels handles it with my 60" tv on top with no problem.
