The UPA-500 in the 7.1 system in my signature is dead. The ring that normally is amber in standby and blue in use is simply dark. The switch is in the On position and the power cable is properly attached.
Is it likely that the fuses have blown? Does this explain why it does not light up at all? I recognize that other problems may have caused the fuses to blow, but are blown fuses the logical place to start?
Assuming it is, what value fuse do I need? I'd like to avoid tearing apart the whole system in search of the answer, especially since I am not sure I'd recognize the answer if I saw it.
I have found a pair of fuses in a tiny plastic bag with a red "zip" stripe. I am pretty sure they are from some Emotiva product, but I own several Emotiva pieces and can only guess which one these originally came accompanied. There are markings on the ends of the fuses but I will need to find/buy a magnifying glass to read them.
Enough rambling. What value fuse do I need for the UPA-500? Is there anything else I should be doing or looking for? I may wind up simply replacing this amp, although Emotiva seems pretty short on budget amps right now.
Thoughts?

I found the UPA-500 user manual online. Unfortunately, the word "fuse" appears nowhere in the manual.

All manuals are here on the forum emotivalounge.proboards.com/board/218/manualsI found internal pictures of the UPA-500 and UPA-200, this one is the UPA-200 but it is clearer to see where the fuses are, I circled them in green with two little arrows *Remember if you need to remove and replace them have the amplifier unplugged and use insulated pliers*

Thanks for the picture. I took the top off of the amp and determined that the fuses in the unit are both t10al250v. They do not look blown to my uninformed eye, but I replaced them with the fuses from the little baggie. They carry the same designation. I plugged in the power cord and flipped the switch.
Nothing happened. No amber light on the front and no little red LEDs on the back.
I am strongly inclined to give up at this point. Aside from a fair amount of dust and a few cobwebs, nothing inside the case looked burnt or disconnected to me.
Is there anything else that is obvious that I should look for, or should I order another amp?

Most likely standby power capacitor or something of that nature. Call up Emotiva support to see your costs. Might still be cheaper to fix than buy new.
