If you haven’t already, check for an update. Version 1.69 has been released on the Panasonic website for updating by USB. I’m out of town for work , so I’m not sure if it is available over the air yet. Yes, it is available OTA, but you might have to instruct the player to look for an update. I did my UB9000 last night and had no problems updating from the manually installed "Chinese" (1.66) firmware. The only item noted in the changelog is " Playability of Blu-ray Discs" which seems to be true. Nothing else seems different. However, the notorious issues with triple-layer discs like "Midway" and "Knives Out" have been fixed. Those two discs now play fine (using Dolby Vision) for me. I do still find it sad that it took Panasonic two years to release a firmware update (pandemic or not), but still happy that they've finally gotten around to supporting their "flagship" players...

Thanks for verifying OTA, I’ll update my 820 when I’m back home this weekend.
