I'm needing a replacement board that has the Ethernet port for my XMC-1, it does not work and I would like to run Dirac, wondering if anyone has a dead XMC-1 that can part out. KeithL any way this can easily be replaced ?? The triggers, IR and USB work but when connecting an Ethernet to the XMC-1 it does not grab an IP or even light up the activity lights on my Ethernet switch or the Ethernet port on the XMC-1 Thanks, Chad

A couple ideas Chad
With no LED flickering, you're probably correct in your assessment Is that picture of the suspected board (your's) I don't see any obvious issue. Flip it over and look with a magnifying glass at the ethernet port for bad connection. If you have a soldering iron, just 'touch-up' the solder joints. Did you try a factory reset? Have you entered the router via browser to verify no IP address? Did you ask Emo if they have any available or will they repair? Good luck. Jeff

Jeff Hey Jeff, That is the board that I removed to have a look at, I received the XMC-1 here ion the Lounge, I can't remember who from but it had been connected during a lightning hit and was up for free, it works 100% other than the Ethernet connection so I was hoping to find a spare board to replace it myself, either from someone who may have a dead XMC-1 laying around or if Emotiva would have a board I could buy, I haven't called them yet but being in Canada it would be very pricey to send it to them so I figured if I could have one sent to me it's an easy swap. I also tried factory reset and even reloaded the firmware but no change so it must have taken a hit through the Ethernet connection even though I can't see any physical damage on the board. Cheers, Chad

I can relate to lighting strikes and electronics... you don't want to know what I lost. Keep you eye on eBay, I've seen "not working" units.

No interest in sending the unit in (whole) for repair refurbishment? The XMC 1 is worth it to do so still.

I could but shipping from Canada to the US is getting more and more by the day, if I could find just the board I am able to swap it out myself which would be the most affordable option, I have the board out right now and it's pretty much like putting a PC together, super easy for me anyway, I can give Emotiva a call but I doubt they will sell me the board itself that is if they even have a part like that on hand. I do have my UFL discount for the XMC-2 but with the current state of the Canadian dollar it's very expensive to buy anything from the US these days for us up here in Canada. Chad

Chad I feel your pain being outside the USA… …. And I hate shipping no matter where it’s going. It’s a crapshoot when you hope the delivery driver is not a football player.

That's $300 USD so like $50,000 CAD hahaha, I inquired about a 19lb package shipped from the US to Canada and the cheapest option that came up was $140 USD so like $200 CAD yeah it's pretty much a huge crap shoot these days and I'm guessing that's why Emotiva no longer gives us Canadians free shipping Luckily I have a buddy who crosses the border that can pick stuff up for me on the US side of the line

I Sold on EBay. Still one high bidder was from Canada ( Literacy was not his strong point. He apologized and then clarified he had someone here locally that would take care of everything (and he did so). Another reason I do very little in the way of selling. Buying is another story all together
