Which Towers please??

This will be my first movie room. The room is 15' x 16' and 8ft ceiling with carpet and drywall fully closed off.

I was leaning towards the T2+ towers, but wondering if they will be to much for this space and should I drop to the T1+? I really like the reviews on the T2's.

Equipment:
Onkyo TX-RZ50 or Denon 3700H. Whichever is available on cyber Monday.

BASx amp at least 3 channel, 5 if not in stock. If only 3 channel I'll run the rears off the AVR.

Center Airmotiv C2+
Rears Airmotiv B1+
Subwoofer Infinity Entra 12" 250 watt.

Since I only have the one older sub I was thinking the T2's would complement the single sub. But don't want to over power the room.

T2s if you can.  Honestly your AVR most movie modes will not send as much bass to the towers, as it will go to the sub.  Thus the T1 and T2 will be very close.  At some point if you ever do 2 channel audio that’s where the T2s will shine.

I will concur. I changed around some components and had my sub unhooked during the process. After I got the T2s positioned, I decided to not connect the sub. No need.
