Hey guys - I could use your help
Setting up my first HT. Primarily using it for Movies and TV but I'll play some music on it as well. Nothing crazy.
I recently pulled the trigger on a Denon S750H and some T-Zero speakers.
My question is whether or not you feel the C1 (when re-stocked) is needed in addition to the tower speakers? I'm leaning yes but I've seen reviews where the towers alone may present a clear enough sound.
Appreciate y'all helping a newbie like myself.

No substitute for a center channel (and a powerful one at that) that you have good control over IMHO. Some are ok with a phantom center, but It kind of defeats the HT goal. Dialogue output varies quite a bit from one film track to the next and that’s when power and control really come into play with the properly configured center. The issue is basically the same regardless of the mains you end up with

condor88 Welcome to the lounge, so happy that you joined the family! Center channel is imperative to a home theater system. It the most important speaker for HT. Have a little Emo Blue and enjoy!
