Thx Try connecting one of the subwoofer cables to a speaker output known to work and try a low volume test to verify all is well with one sub and cable. Next, setup the Speaker Size for the simplest setup, Fronts Small, Left Sub Mono. Stereo audio mode uses bass management so subwoofer should be operating.

When I go to channel level settings, I get no output for mono or stereo sub output. It sounds like a trip to Franklin, TN. to me, The HDMI input switching has been incredibly slow at times also, although after Factory Reset everything does seem faster. Bummer

One Sub has a bad, intermittent "On, Auto On & Off" switch. I DeoxIT, didn't help, need to replace it. The other was a bad RCA cable that was the first 6 ft cable I saw. This is the second time those brand of (old) RCA cable worked, then the next time they were used, the crimping was loose- they all went in the trash. What's the chance 2 subs didn't work for two different reasons... while troubleshooting the Pre/Pro?!
Received new Roku Ultra that fixed image quality issues but... The HDMI issues are still a pita- I reloaded the latest XMC firmware yesterday and the HDMI switching problems persist. Reason for reloading firmware was all the Latest Surround Sound Audio Modes just disappeared, except stereo, ref stereo, 5 chan stereo, direct & surround. wth...? Spent 3 hours working on the same ole issues- HDMI. Did some reading on tech websites about HDMI cables and they are not the problem with HDMI. They asked the same questions we do, "why do some work and others don't?" I liked Geoffrey Morrison's articles @ CNET. "As mentioned before, anything you buy now should be at least HDMI 2.0, and honestly it will be surprising if you find a mainstream production that isn't 2.0 at this point. Most manufacturers won't specify "a" or "b", though if the product claims to do HDR, it's probably at least 2.0a, and quite possibly 2.0b." Most of my HDMI cables were "upgraded" to 2.0b this year. Waste of money, nothing changed. HDMI is the biggest f-up in the history of audio/video.
A new HDMI board is still "TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE" and have been for mouths. I'm loosing my patients.
