I have a Schiit Magni. It has worked great, but my needs are quite simple. It has been powering Hifiman HE-400 cans in my music studio for many years.

I originally had a Schiit Vali, then moved up to the Lyr 3... it's been rock solid for the last 3 years or so. I've read nothing but great things about the Jotunheim 2, same with Benchmark; pricey, but well made and the reviews are always fantastic. benchmarkmedia.com/Any particular price point?

All those are really nice choices and compared to what was available before at those prices are just amazing in terms of performance. I have the A-100. Your HD535 is 150 ohms so in direct drive mode it should sound really nice. Unlimited power on tap - the amp never strains ever. They have absolutely thrown my HD600, HD6XX, HD700 and HD800S around and extracted every bit of control over them.
However, it's only disadvantage is that at 150 ohms there is a mild hiss. And if you are counting on using the volume control on the A-100 in direct drive mode, you may be disappointed due to the little usable range (due to the power). So I would suggest using a volume control up channel of the A-100 instead.
The other amps should be significantly quieter in terms of hiss. I have been toying around with buying one of the balanced amps as my HD800S has an XLR cable.

I have tried many headphone amps priced well above your budget. Cant go wrong with any of the above and honestly the Schiit Magnus will be all you would need and it can drive almost anything. Pair it up with a nice DAC and you are set. Keep in mind they do sound a little different. While the THX models measure the best, (I have the Monolith version with the built in DAC and dirac) I actually prefer how the Schiit sounds in comparison. I also have a ton of headphones which gives me the opportunity to try different combos before I came up with this personal conclusion.

Thank you all for your advice and suggestions. As I thought before, the best choice for me will be Schiit Magnius. This, in my opinion, will be the best value for money and my needs. Thanks again.

It's basically the same as the A-100 for headphones. It just uses a switching power supply.
