Hello all, I've been searching around for someone who may have done this already but haven't had any luck. I am planning to use some holiday emo bucks to purchase the vaulta ceiling speakers for my Atmos height speakers. I was also thinking of upgrading my side surrounds. My current front stage and rear surrounds are Polk LSiM 707,706c and 702s. All to be driven with 13 channels on XPA amps and an RMC-1L pre pro. So now to my question. I kinda feel like the B1+ speakers would be awesome, but would be a bit large on the wall. Has anyone used the A1 heights as a surround speaker? Am I losing allot by downgrading to a 4" driver on the A1? My side surrounds have always been just small def tech pro monitor 800s. Not a very large or impressive speaker. If the B1's would be the better choice, I'll deal with the aesthetics.
Thanks in advance!

Any thoughts on the E2+ surround speakers? Let’s you keep the 5-1/2” drivers and they have a slimmer profile compared to the B1+.

I am planning to use some holiday emo bucks to purchase the vaulta ceiling speakers for my Atmos height speakers. I was also thinking of upgrading my side surrounds. My current front stage and rear surrounds are Polk LSiM 707,706c and 705s. All to be driven with 13 channels on XPA amps and an RMC-1L pre pro. So now to my question. I kinda feel like the B1+ speakers would be awesome, but would be a bit large on the wall. Has anyone used the A1 heights as a surround speaker? I'm using the B1+ for rear surrounds in a 7.1.4 system with all Magnepans in the sides, front top and front and Polks for rear top. I like the B1+ because the low end is pretty good down to 60Hz so I can cross it over that low. I also sit at a desk in the rear of the room most of the day and with upmixed music the sound from the B1+ is very good. These brackets work great for the wall mount. I have them sitting upside down to get the tweeter lower and closer to ear level. That's an angled bass trap above. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GUITK24/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They are a very similar design. I don't have enough wall space where my sides surrounds are mounted in the room for such a wide speaker. I have a pillar on one side and the corner of a wall on the other. Unfortunately it is not a perfectly rectangular room.
