HD Fury to reduce my HDMI Fury - Which One?

So I found a person local to me that is willing to trade me his Xmc-2 for my av7705. I think I’m going to go through with it. He should have about 3 years of warranty left.

I want to go to his place to test it out. Any advice for me or things I should look out for? My plan is to eventually use it with an hd fury vroom.
