New Turntable - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Evo

The phono tube-preamp has arrived and wired up. Ran a grounding wire from the turntable to the external tube pre-amp and then to the main pre-amp.

Got one of these to clean my records this weekend. I have to say I was impressed with the results. Even a pop that had been there for years on a certain track was washed away.
Had to use a very small amount of surfactant (a half drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid / gallon of Distilled water) to reduce the surface tension. After the wash I could see a thin even layer of water that sheeted off slowly from the playing surface which meant the cleaning was good.
Then rinsed it off with RO water and let it dry.
