OK - Wish list time…
What would I want in a new flagship speaker from Big Dan? I’m so glad you asked!
BASS:
Dual 10 or 12 inch woofers with an honest -3dB down point of 25Hz. (no subwoofer needed).
MIDRANGE:
Since we have to keep the price attractive to our cheapskate audiophile Emotiva customers, maybe two of the midrange drivers from the T2 speakers in a d’Appolito configuration with the usual ribbon tweeter in the center. Or, if we want to pay a bit more and “shoot the moon” for sound quality, a new ribbon MIDRANGE driver!
TREBLE:
Emotiva’s ribbon sounds good to me, but since this is a “flagship” product, maybe tweak it a bit?
CABINET:
OK, dudes (and dudettes), let’s face it - black vinyl just don’t cut it. Wood grain vinyl is no more expensive, and is a LOT better in the critical WAF category. Bust a move and at least offer the new flagship in an optional (or even mandatory) wood grain. Just do it.
PRICE:
You guys DON’T want to wander into the $2K or over meat grinder of speaker pricing! But if (ah say IF) you can manage this for about $1,500/pair, I’d bet it would be a WINNER!

Up the build quality, particularly the feet.

This is pretty good. I think the price may be a bit optimistic, but it would have what I am looking for . Personally I would take the same T2's just with a taller tower and perhaps a slightly larger mid range woofer or dual mid range woofers of the current size.

Selling a set of optional, universal (to all Emotiva speakers) outriggers with screw threads allowing the original spikes / feet would make the speakers more stable.

Like my set of ERT 8.3's have.....adjustable outriggers, very stable speakers. Got them in the basement system these days, used about 5 times a year, switched over to Tekton's for upstairs system.

My guess would be three 8" drivers over dual 10" or 12"s.
