Having just watched this recent YouTube video, it reminded me of how FRUSTRATING these ,"so called", HDMI features are and how completely & ridiculously hard they are to get working 100%(if there is such a thing). If only all of the Audio/Video industry manufacturers would come up with an "Industry-Wide" protocol to make HDMI CEC/ARC & eARC "PLUG'n'PLAY" !!! No one manufacturer is to blame if you have to go through this *^%$*^$ to make it work.

It's the nature of HDMI, LC. From the beginning, the hardware and software have been profoundly poorly implemented. Won't change now, either. So for worse (or worser), we're stuck with HDMI. I still contend that the HDMI design team. whoever and wherever they are, have earned their place in burning Hell for all eternity. This is not intended as a figure of speech, either.

LCSeminole this should be a Sticky! We could then direct everyone with an issue to spend ten minutes of their time to hear pretty much all of the things to check or do. My tv is more responsible for ARC problems than any other component.

Glad that two-channel systems avoid such poor engineering…
