In another thread Keith suggested and briefly discussed Sorbothane.
Here is another potenail but Laminated material......

This is a CLD material....Constrained Layer Damping......and is of multiple layers working on the principle which Keith discussed.
I'm just suggesting a little......DIY.........might yield a result.
If you check out the link? You'll see some measurements which extend down to about 100hz.....Not heavy bass range, to be sure, but
certainly a good start to any serious thinking.
