Focal Dome Flax

Good morning guys! Hope you are all well.

I’m seeking out for your expertise and opinions.

Right now I’m looking at the Focal Dome Flax as my height channels 4 of them.

Wanted to see what is your opinions & what you all think of these speakers as height channels.

Or if you have any recommendations on other speakers.

For Heights they should work fine. I love the design!

They barely get down below 80Hz. The speakers I'm using for Heights also only get just below 80Hz, and I cross mine at 130Hz because that's what works best for them. But the Focals look so much better!

Front wall mounted height effect speakers or above the listener Atmos / DTS:X channels?   Are the main speakers also from Focal?

Any thought given to timbre balance among the various speakers?

If the mains are Focal, I'd tend to stick with Focal.

changes in tonality CAN be annoying, even in a movie where nobody knows exactly what anything should sound like,

except mostly voices.....and than? Toss in a layer of effects and who cares?
