Being a Military Spec Certified solderer it is horrible the things I see soldered wrongly. This video is an easy get along with with Narrative for the beginner but many good videos out there. youtu.be/6rmErwU5E-kWant to see how not to do it. There is on guy here on SMT YouTube Channel, and when you see him solder, it is most disturbing. Basically how not to do it. He uses the wrong tool for his job, does not use new solder but only the crusty horrible remnants of what is there. I gave him some ahem....tips, but he won't listen. Some people are D!cks when it comes to taking helpful advice. I like his channel but dubious about staying because he really isn't that good and I have outgrown him. If his soldering was better, I would probably stay, but when you show people how to do it wrong. I am gone! Won't waste my time with poor technique on anything instructional. Life is too short. Excellence, good proper technique. Grow the audience by doing it right, or don't do it! Easy!

I had lessons from a MilSpec guy. He even told me about sectioning joints, looking for voids and poor penetration......
I like the All-Visual aspect which transcends language. You could show that video in India and it'd play.
