I was about to insert banana plugs into my new Airmotiv A1s when I discovered there are no holes in the binding posts. Is there a way to remove the red and black caps so I can use banana plugs with these speakers?

Oh, never mind. The red and black caps are paper thin and there is solid metal beneath them. Banana plugs are not an option here. Compressing the binding post and trying to put the plug in that way does not work either.

Compressing the binding post and trying to put the plug in that way does not work either. You should be able to remove the plastic red and black caps. This would then allow you to insert banana plugs.

This was actually a big disappointment for me. They should have used normal binding posts that accept either bare wire or banana. I had to modify my cables to accommodate this unexpected type of connector.
