I auditioned a Avid Plug and Play that had the upgraded aluminum platter and while it sounds great with my Grado Sonata 2 cartridge the table wasnt for me.
Need more protection with the kids and pets.
Finished by ordering a new Thorens TD-403.
I love my Kenwood KD650 but have been chasing a grounding issue(that causes a hum) and think at this point the tonearm needs to be rewired. Add to that the typical hinge failure and I am ready to move on.
Now the waiting game....
